New! Driver’s Education (via Zoom) – Instructor: George Olson
Open to students 14 years of age and older. This will be a virtual Zoom class. Once you register and pay the fee, you will be given a log-in code for the class. Class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 23, Feb. 25, Mar. 2, Mar. 4, Mar. 9, Mar. 11, Mar. 16, Mar. 18, Mar. 23, and Mar. 25 (10 classes); 6:00-9:00 P.M. One make-up day of Tues., Mar. 30 is scheduled for any lesson you miss. Any further missed lessons will be made up at an additional charge of $75 per lesson (no allowances will be made), or the course will need to be retaken, and no refund will be given. Register by Feb. 14; class will be cancelled if the required minimum number of students is not met. $100 fee per student.
Build a computer bot to play head-to-head against other coders! Players will be broken into pools based on age for competitive and fair play. Whether this is your first Code Championship event, or if you've been competing for years, this is the perfect way to explore the competitive coding world of Code Championship. No previous coding experience necessary. This event will be hosted online using Google Meet and the Code Championship website. If you have a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox, no additional download is required. Please come knowing how to navigate the internet (basic typing and mouse control). The link to the Google Meet event will be emailed two days before the tournament. Three separate, 1-day, Saturday classes): Jan 9, Feb 6, Mar 6; 9-11 A.M. Grades: 3-9; Fee is $27 per person per class date.
JOIN OUR GENTLE STRETCHING VIA ZOOM CLASS - follow along with the Gentle Stretching Class from the comfort of your own home!
Gentle Stretching – Instructor: Holly Niehaus
This stretching class is designed to be a slow-paced and relaxing practice. We will focus on breath work, stretching, strengthening, and balance. This gentle approach will help unwind tension built up in the body and bring about calmness. While honoring your body, we will explore postures to bring comfort and ease. This will give you freedom to consider what fits your comfort level. It will also give you an opportunity to rest, restore, and recharge. This class will be taught by Holly, 200 RYT and Whole-Being, Well-Being yoga-certified. Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 P.M. via Zoom; Fee: $6 per time.
