Ms. Alethea Montgomery
Grade 5

My name is Mrs. Alethea Montgomery, I teach  5th grade Reading, spelling and Science.
I have taught K-5 Title One Reading, 1st grade, 4th grade, and 6th, 7th & 8th grade science. I have 3 children (2 in college and one in high school), I retired from the Air National Guard in 2013 and am a graduate of UMD and Hamline Universities. I hold both Ohio and Minnesota teaching license in k-5, 6-8 science and K-12 Reading.
I love to travel and explore the world.  My favorite places that I've been are Denver Colorado, Angel's Landing in Zion park, Utah, the Grand Canyon, Stonehenge,  the gargoyles at the top of Notre Dame, hiking up Mt. Vesuvius (where I threw a rock into the crater), and walking the ancient streets of Pompeii.
But besides traveling and going on adventures, I love to spend time with my family and my dogs. We love to hike, camp, collect rocks and explore the area.
