501 2D Visual Art: CITS Digital Art 9-12
You must maintain your school gmail account and assigned school web page. Bring your own set of earbuds. Internet permission form, photography consent form, equipment loan form and Internet citizenship consent form must all be in place before work in this course can begin.
We will be studying digital art as it relates to the elements and principles of art and design. All projects require basic computer literacy. Many of our projects will align with historical and social events. Use new knowledge from other class lectures and research. When you build meaning and substance into your art it will mean more to you and ultimately have more to say to others.
The digital world is continually changing. As new information is shared we all grow. Come prepared to be part of the conversation.
#7527 MCCC Code:05167 Basic html introductory course with some open source exploration. Students develop a personal web page within a class web site. Develop code writing skills and competency in creating expressive digital work. Students will create original digital work that demonstrates their understanding of the personal, social, cultural and historical contexts that demonstrate an understanding of the elements and principles of digital art.
FDLTCC ART 1097 Introduction to Digital Graphics
This course will introduce students to computer technologies that apply specifically to graphic design and the production of digital works. Use computer software for design layout and creation of two-dimensional digital imagery will be emphasized. Students enrolling in this class must have an understanding of computer functions and applications
